Pastel Peach Rose

During one of our rare moments of sunshine this summer (2012) I quickly got my camera and had a good look around my garden. I found this poor little rose looking decidedly glum with head down in amongst my pot marigolds. I suspect the heavy rain had beaten it down, but I gathered it up gently and managed to hook it in amongst some other relatively high growing garden plants and snapped it before the rain came again. It’s a variety with an exceptionally intense perfume!
