During excavations in 1968 found to contain the remains of between 16 - 22 adults and six juveniles, including a newborn baby, Belived to be dating back to the Neolithic period, probably between 4200 BC to 2900 BC, The remarkable image of the sun setting through the Dolmen is one of those most commonly associated with the area, |
