Erawan Shrine in Bangkok

Photo of the legendary Erawan Shrine that stands majestically in the heart of downtown Bangkok. This was build in honor of Brahma (Phra Prom in Thai), the Hindu god of creation, draws devotees daily from every corner of the globe seeking blessings and good fortunes through dances, incense-burning and floral offerings. Every day, thousands of devotees both Thai and foreigners pray at the shrine to seek blessings, fulfillment of dreams, success in personal lives and careers. This is a statue of a four-faced buddha.
