Freedom Tower Rising at Ground Zero

Progress as of May 9th of the Freedom Tower at Ground Zero, New York City. The building, now at the 64th floor, will eventually reach a height of 1776 feet, a number selected to coincide with the year of the United States Declaration of Independence. The tallest of the Twin Towers, formerly occupying the site, reached 1,727 feet.
