An Incorrect Perception

I used to take my young son to a "drop-in center" in the mornings to play with toys and other children, and we adults could sit around, visit, drink coffee and socialize. I told my wife about this one mom, -tall, nice conversationalist (and yes, -attractive..) that several times offered me half of her hot buttered bagel that she would bring almost every day. My wife sort of took mild exception to this, offering me delicious hot buttered bagels... We laugh about it now and her "perception" of the situation might have been like this cartoon... We nicknamed her "the bagel lady" and joke about it a lot now. ;-)
