I'm no art scholar by all means, but I think that when your goal sits more on the vsuail and emotional impact of the piece than on the common meaning of the image being displayed, it's abstract.I can't disagree that the borderline between these is blurry, but since it's only you, the artist, that can recognize the origins of this picture in the final result, it's still abstract.And beautiful! I love your work, keep posting!
