Quetzalcoatl Dance

by Bill M. Tracer
published on Sep 25, 2007

This is another one of my creations that started with the 3D fractal program called XenoDream. I pulled my initial results into Photoshop and filtered the image with a great variety of post effects, including the beveled frame into which the image echoes.

I love the movement in this one. It certainly looks like some sort of dance from Central or South America with all of the bright colors.

Thank you, After I first created it and sat back to look it over, I was quickly struck by the illusion of the dance. Then I saw the face of the feathery dragon Quetzalcoatl diagonally in the four quadrants of the image surrounding the cross in its center. The four of them seem to be in quivering motion. I can imagine them spinning in a wild circle dancing spasmodically.

Wow, I agree that this image is filled with movement. I too see the dance.
