Actually Liane, it's not a photo or a painting, well... in the traditional sense anyway. It is a digital painting. This piece took me several hours for just the coloring and outlining as it was done pixel by pixel.
Stargirl, I'm not sure what kind of flowers they were, but they were originally solid white. I often use white flowers for my images so that I can paint them any color I choose.

Bojack, I'm not sure what techniques Allison uses, but she does have some lovely work.
