Bachelors Buttons

On our walk out into the countryside, along with pink campions, it was equally pleasing to see these bachelors buttons. I’ve noticed that most websites seem to list blue cornflowers as bachelors buttons. Maybe it’s just us Norfolk folk that call these little white gems bachelors buttons, but, whatever you call them, these little flowers, like the campions are seldom seen along field edges now.
