My maternal grandfather, Howard Morgan, his nickname was Shorty. He was the greatest grandfather. He had the farm in Springville, Alabama that I wrote about in " Autumn Weekend ". A tribute to you, Shorty, I love you, Pam.

I never met my maternal grandfather, but my mom told me that he was a great man.

My mother told me that his father died when he was just 40 years old. She told me many things about him and that he was a teacher. I would have loved to meet and know him personally.
