The Loner

Heard of the Lone Ranger? Think this must have been his horse in a previous life - Lone Horse!! Every year we have about 15-20 rescued horses on the meadow at the bottom of our garden and for about the last three or four years this horse with slightly unusual markings has spent his spring and summer months with us! The strange thing is that, whereas the majority of the horses have their own little gang of friends, this one seems happy enough to wander into whichever gang he wants, he nearly always wanders off and spends time on his own. This picture shows him in one of his "quiet moments". Perhaps he's got girlie tendencies; likes to go out on the town and socialise but adores running a bath with aromatic oils and bubble baths, grabbing the latest celeb mag, pouring a glass of wine and then just locking herself away for an hour to indulge!!!
