Presentation to The 26th

August 22, 2009, Saturday, author Alberta H. Sequeira presented Captain George Devlin of the 26th "Yankee" Division an autographed book of her memoir A Healing Heart; A Spiritual Renewal. It was in memory of her father, Brigadier General, Albert L. Gramm and dedicated to the servicemen and women of the 26th Yankee Division. Mr. Al Gramm was one of the commanding officers of the 26th Yankee Division during WWII fighting in the battle of Lorraine, Metz and the famous Battle of the Bulge. October 19, 1990, Mr. Al Gramm died of cancer at eighty years old in South Dennis, Massachusetts. He was buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetry at Otis Air Base, Bourne, MA. Ms. Sequeira was honored meeting all the men of the 26th Yankee Division in remembrance of her father.
