Church and State, Separate!

May 26, 2009, Salt Lake City, UT. Protest against the California Supreme Court's decision to uphold the constitutional ban on gay marriage while upholding the marriages of those before the ban was in place. Speakers: Michael Mueller, Rev. Russel Baker, Martha and Lusa Oldman, Brett and Alan, Brian Horne and Chris Nelson, Marcie Taylor, Nate Bennett, and Troy Williams. Estimates range between 300-2000 people attended. Started at State Capitol at 6:30 pm and then they marched to the LDS Temple and back. The protest ended around 8:20 pm.
