This is one species of Rambutan that grows in Jakarta. It's local name is Rambutan Rapiah. It tastes very sweet.

We have lots of those in the Philippines. I like the very red ones. They're so sweet. They're off season now though. nice pic.

likha is right, you have to choose the very red one, the red rambutan means it's ripe, the taste of this fruit is really good and sweet! Phillipines is exporting rambutan in other country!
