 | A Burst of Yellow | | by Mystify | | published on Aug 12, 2009 | This is a close up shot of the center of a flower off a tree Poeny.ludlowii.It grows 10000 feet up in the mountains of Tibet.It only blooms for roughly eight days but it is quite a lovely show of large yellow flowers covering the tree, afterwards it has massive seedpods that looks similar to pea pods just much bigger, each seed about the size of a five pence peice or dime. |
