Commonly mistaken for a mint, Indian borage (Plectranthus amboinicus; previously also classified as Coleus amboinicus, C. aromaticus) is commonly used throughout Southeast Asia to treat coughs. Chew the leaves of this plant when you have a cough and throat irritation. It is also useful for burns, sores and stings.
