 | Gordie, the Miniature Donkey | | by Mark Gordon Brown | | published on Jun 17, 2008 | We bought Gordie at an auction. He was not gelded, but was a lot of fun. He got along with all our other animals, sheep, llamas, standard donkey, etc, all up until spring when he started thinking more about breeding. We had been training him to do tricks, and were content to keep him, until he tried to breed a llama and tore a strip of hair and hide off her back. At that point we decided to sell him. Still I reccommend them as pets, but preferably as geldings. |
