I had a GF for a while with a couple pet parrots.One was called a Mitre Conure I think,the other one was littler and much more social and would sing along with you if you hummed something.Pam, soooooo happy about the book thing.Please let me know how it all goes.

What a colorful bird. Excellent photograph! When I was in my teens I used to go with this girl that had a parrot. You had to be real careful what you said around it. It repeated everything it heard. Got me in more trouble than my sisters did! Great shot. Like this a lot!!!

Wow great picture of your beautiful pet. While I have never owned one, I did paint one.. in fact I have loaded a picture of my painting here and its showing as one of the thumbnails being presented at the bottom of the page. Cindy is a very pretty girl!

I love birds myself, although the only ones we have now are Lady Amherst Pheasants (outdoor pets) I hope to get more soon. As for indoor birds I really like the soft bills.
Conures have lovely coloring, she looks like she is in good shape too!
