Mt. Katadin

Columbus day weekend the snow had already capped Maine's tallest mountain. One of the starting points of the Appalachian Trail, many hikers try to reach this point before first snow. While not as blustery as Mt. Washington, or as grand as the Tetons, there is a quiet beauty to these mountains.
