Perfect Launch

While the Florida panhandle was being battered by the first tropical storm of the season weather was great at Cape Canaveral. Pictured is the morning sunrise highlighting the contrail of an Atlas five rocket carrying a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) into orbit. It will replace on that's 10 years old and at risk for sending back false information in the near future. This launch was way behind schedule and way over budget, according to Air Force officials.

Oh well, if they are over budget, they can always get a stimulous check. At least you got a billion dollar picture. That is probably all we will get for the money spent.
