Friend Ruthann and best friend Honey indicate height of August corn in south central Indiana corn field. This field is dedicated to livestock feed. Like the song says, it's as high as an elephant's eye.

I always associate this crop with the US, even though we do grow it here too. Not as tall as this though! We just don't get enough constant sun!
