My Husband Plays in Mud Puddles

Last weekend we went on a 10 mile hike with my son and his family. It was hot but Ron found a way to stay cool.

The scene has lots of counterparts in the Philippines.

Lucky you brought the camera along to capture the moment!

Darlene, and lucky him, his hair has grown back too! I love walking through the creek on hot days. Why not?

Maybe he isn't playing! Could this be some ancient lost rite where standing in mud is supposed to make ones hair grow?

Unofre, thank you for your comment.

Icy, I always know to bring the camera when I go somewhere with Ron, there's sure to be at least one picture worth taking.

Hi, Josey. Ron really is just a big kid at heart with a happy go lucky personality.

Hi Judy, yes his hair has all grown back and he is wondering when I will get around to cutting it again. He has already mentioned taking the thinning scissors out again.

louie, hi. I tease Ron sometimes saying that his parents stood him in the manure pile on the farm to make him grow (he is 6ft. 7in.) Maybe standing in mud puddles is part of a lost Saskatchewan hair growing rite. His hair sure grows quickly.

Thanks guys for your comments. Ron is a good sport and we have had a lot of fun with this one.

I agree with Louie, I think he is trying to grow his hair.

I love squishing the mud between my toes. I have to admit it's been a long time since I did it. But since I'm reminded I'll have to look for a mud puddle.

Ahh Ruby, you are a kid at heart! If and when you find that mud puddle, I hope you have a camera handy. I would love to see it and I know Ron would too.

Hi valli. As you can see from the picture, jumping mud puddles has done wonders. His hair is now longer than usual.

Nice...A 10 mile walk certainly demands a little foot cooling.

You have an excellent subject for a photographic show. I bet you have some other pictures in your portfolio. Thank you, Darlene, that has lighted up my day!

Alexa, hi.
He looked like it was fun and his 2 year old granddaughter who wasn't allowed in the muddy water thought so too.

Hi beauley,
This is probably the reason he did the mud puddle stomp. He has no idea how far we were walking until we were at the half way mark.

Hugo, hi.
I have many others. I am glad it brightened your day.
