SIKADA Eight - Sining Katutubo Dance Assembly of Pagsanjan, Laguna Philippines

Sikada dancers photo 8 Sikada is the Official Cultural Dance Troupe of the Municipality of Pagsanjan, Laguna, Philippines. This dance group, which is composed of young performers all from Pagsanjan, was founded by Hon. Mayor Jeorge (E.R.) Ejercito Estregan on January 29, 2002 as cultural awareness outrearch program for today's new generation. It was formally organized to preserve Filipino tradition and share to everyone its rich cultural heritage through the language of dance and song and by playing musical instruments.
