A Mothers Sadness

Why, is all that you ask yourself. And then you cry and cry and cry. Sometimes it feels like it will never end. I was scared. They wouldn't let me see her and I was worried that something was wrong. They took her and wouldn't let me hold her. I just wanted to see her face and tell her that mommy was here. I waited and waited. Wondering and crying on the inside. Please let everything be okay. They told me it was lymphedema and that everything would be okay. How do you tell your newborn that??
