The Dam at Mt Holly

Well, it was once upon a time. But then along came Joe, slow Joe the DCNR guy who wanted these dams removed and it was dynamited. This was once a pretty sight, now it is a creek littered with pieces of concrete. Fishing was better but DCNR had their way. Call it government intervention or improvement, whichever you like. The road is route 34, the Holly Gap is about a half mile to the right, Mt. Holly is about a half mile to the left.
