 | Two Early 1900's Working Class Homes | | by Ralph Brandt | | published on Apr 29, 2009 | These two homes have none of the ornate structure of the Mount Holly Springs upper crust's homes. They were housing, a nice place to live. They have been well kept and at least one has a back addition. They were built with the side walls against the other, something that is somewhat unusual in the town but if you look there is space on both of the other sides. The porches seem to be something that much of Holly considered standard and they have been maintained. The home on the left is more elegant.
Note that the next home to the right sits back. It is shown in another picture. |
