 | The Buckhorn Exchange in Denver, Colorado | | by ladym33 | | published on Dec 1, 2010 | This is the seating area in the bar at the Buckhorn Exchange restaurant and museum in Denver, Colorado. This is the oldest restaurant in Denver and also houses may animal trophies some of them many, many years old, as well as old guns and other relics dating back to the late 1800's. The man who started this restaurant "Shorty Scout" Zietz ran with Buffalo Bill at one time. He opened the Buckhorn Exchange in 1893.
Rare eats such as ratal snake and aligator among others can be found at the Buckhorn Exchange. For more information about the Buckhorn exchange you can go to: http://buckhornexchange.com/history.php
My family had an enjoyable experience at the Buckhorn Exchange. |
