 | Old Bridge Across the Conewago | | by Ralph Brandt | | published on Aug 4, 2008 | This is the old bridge across the Conewago Creek in northern York County. At one time the north-south traffic in this area crossed this one lane bridge located 1.5 miles north of Manchester PA on PA 181. The construction of this bridge is much like the Walnut Street Bridge in Harrisburg. It is about 250 feet long and one lane, Walnut Street is 3400 feet and two lanes.
