Boat at Inishmurray, an Island Off County Sligo, Ireland

Inishmurray is an island several miles into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of northwestern Ireland. The closest land mass is Mullaghmore, County Sligo. Boats can only land at Inishmurray when the wind and tides are right. Here a boat is anchored while visitors explore the village that was abandoned decades ago. I used a filter on the image to make it appear like an impressionist painting.
