Maybe I really am a monster. Some horrible, terrible monster, that hurts others and sulks in caves in her own pity.

Maybe I'm the very monster I've always feared.

But it's funny...every time I look at the moon, I feel whole again. Like everything wrong with the world can all be made right.

Maybe I'm just getting senile.

Very last of the M O O N series. Hopefully, I'll add a few more to my list. Maybe someday.

I had long looked up at the sky, to the emptiness of space. Even when I was a child, I would look up and wonder what lay up there. What planets turned in the exponential blackness that was the nighttime sky.

I still do that now, even as I'm older. Wiser. Know what's actually up there and what turns around the sun. But there is a...mysticism that comes with space. An ethereal force that pulls me into it's amber glow and refuses to let me go.
