What is Left of Bear 133

Bear 133 was once one of a few bears in Canada,s Banff National Park. Unfortunately for this lovely creature, people got lazy and left their garbage out. This trained the bear to look to humans for food, and it did not fear them. It was relocated twice, only to return to the easy food in garbage cans. Bear 133 became a problem and was shot. I think the person who kept leaving the food out only got a small fine.

Hopefully we will have some lambs in the spring. Sheep have a five month gestation period, and we got him in October. You do the math.

She was born on a winter day and her mom just walked away. If she was not found when she was, she would have frozen to death, she was still wet, and only minutes old in this first picture of her http://www.picable.com/Nature/Animals/Bottle-Feeding.449947 taken in January 2009.

In the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, is a city called Golden. I think it was named for the rocks near by. Coming from Alberta the first thing we noticed was the much higher gas prices and provincial tax. It was a neat looking city.

In the Canadian Rockies lies a real jewel of a lake. The colors are natural, I have not done any altering to this picture. A person can rent canoes here and they are much better priced than at the more popular Lake Louise.
