|  | Happy Halloween, Triond Friends | Sam is a genuine rescue cat. The progeny of a feral mama, he ambled into our backyard just minutes before Hurricane Charlie blew our house down in 2004. He was about 10 weeks old. Sam rode out the storm with the rest of us in a 1986 Ford Ranger as he did Hurricane Frances since there was no room at the inn. Actually there were no inns with shingles on the roof. Sam is not afraid of lightning, thunder or howling winds. |
