The Good, the Bad, and the Confusing, Triond Income

Well heck, I went from over 9000 hits per day on an article to an average of 500 a day. That is the good and bad.... The confusing is why one article with 152 hits made only two cents, and an other article with 82 hits made seven cents. Both articles are on gomestic. Very odd. Not complaining, just finding it odd. Probably the totals are not up to date or something.

Peyto Lake

This is a commonly photographed lake in Banff National Park, Alberta. Located between the Saskatchewan Crossing and Lake Louise this is a beautiful view of the glacier fed lake. The hike to the view point is easy, keep a look out for woodland creatures. On sunny days it looks even better.

Peyto Lake on Fire

Just messing around with a photo I took of Peyto Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta. I thought the colors in the sky were especially beautiful.

Esme

I am sure our cats were confused when our daughter bought this pet hedgehog, whom she has named Esme (character from Twilight). Hedgehogs are nocturnal so not a pet suitable for people who are light sleepers. Esme is seven weeks old, she didn't like the flash so we didn't take too many pictures.

G3 Aka Smudge

This cute calf was being sold at the Odd and Unusual Livestock auction. He was totally adorable, and I hope he went to a good home.

Your Ears Look Funny

A while ago a few loose horses showed up in the pasture next to my house. Sadly they were underweight. Aggie (the donkey) must have thought they were funny looking, ears too short and too much hair on their tails. Their owner came and got them later that day. I hope he feeds them.

Friendly Wild Pasture Bird

This little bird could fly but didn't. It hung around with my daughter and I when we were out in the pasture taking pictures of our Donkey and some loose horses. I suppose it was use to hunting for bugs around the animals feet so we were not scary to it. I do not know what kind of bird it is. We know it could fly because it eventually flew up and landed on a fence post.

Overcoming a Fear

This is my husband in a canoe on Emerald Lake (yes it really is that color - no photoshopping). He is terrified of the water, and cannot swim. However when we got to this beautiful lake, myself, daughter, and his son, all convinced him to get in a canoe and go for it. After he focused, he rather enjoyed it.

Stair Guard

Better watch your step or the stair guard will get your ankles. This little rascal, we caught as a totally wild kitten - he tamed himself. I guess he realized it was better (warmer) to live inside rather than out. He is neutered.

Blah

This is a photo of two of our critters.. I couldnt think of a good / funny caption, maybe you can. The donkey is Aggie, the mini horse is Anastasia.
