|  | Feeding Time! | New born kittens, unlike newborn humans, instinctively find the milk spigot and feed themselves. Human mothers have to read books on nursing, and then get the maternity ward nurses to try to get those cute little babies to latch on. My first fight with my now 15 year old was over nursing vs bottle feeding. She won that one. It was a sign of things to come. (She really is a great kid - and she hates it when I tell stories about her. It's called Mother's revenge!) |
|  | Kafka Close Up | Kafka is a cute little guy we rescued, born wild to a wild mom, we caught him when his mommy came up on to our deck for some food, she, being extremely wild ran away before we could even get the door open, this guy and his brother were two tiny terrified kittens and my wife managed to catch him, but his brother got away (we have since caught him too) he was probably five weeks old at the time, and is now a tame house kitty. |
