It may sound crazy, but you should see them. They are actually easier to own than a dog. You do not need to walk them, you just have to give them water, feed them, and give them love. But why would you want a small pig? I'll tell you why. Lots of people underestimates pigs. All of those people think the only reason they are alive is so they can give us food and die. But think of a micro pig as a dog. You'll see that they are very similar. And also, they are so cute! They look sort of like Babe (from the movie Babe). They have small snouts and you'll make a guaranteed sympathetic sound when you see one. Micro pigs are great, and if you love them, they will love you back. |
|  | DOG DAYS OF SUMMER | This is my dog Sam, she's an 8 year old Golden Lab/Beagle mix we rescued from our local Animal Shelter on Nov. 14, 1998. Sam had been abandoned at approx. 5 to 6 weeks old by the railway tracks and was found with a broken tail. She still has her bent tail but as you can see her spirit is no longer broken. Sam has had a wonderful life and is very content now that she's found love. |

|  | Kitten in a Box | We caught this kitten on our deck, a feral mom had a litter in the woods and was coming with them onto the deck for food. We caught one kitten earlier, and took it to the shelter, after one week of taming. Later we caught this guy, for the longest time he seemed hopeless as he was so wild. We have kept him and neutered him, and he is growing up safely indoors. We live on a farm, haven't seen his momma since. |
|  | Sheep in the Morning | Well now, you notice one sheep there looking back towards me, she is looking to see if I have treats. Her name is "Favorite Sheep". She is a favorite because she is very friendly. Unfortunately something happened to her this past winter, after she had her twins. She showed up with one droopy ear, and her tongue hangs out of her mouth on the side. We think she had a stroke. Still a lovely sheep, a real pet. |
|  | The Most Beautiful Calico, Biff | Her name was Biff, and she was the only cat I've ever known who would take on the vacuum, she was fearless! She died of old age, she was a hunter, a mother, a tree climber, and run away! She always came back, for dinner, but always on her terms. Biff I'll miss you. She was the Most Beautiful Calico. |
|  | Angel and Daddy | When we found Angel in the Target store parking lot, we brought her home. From the very first moment, our oldest cat, Buddy, decided that he was going to be her "Daddy". He started out by cleaning her, sitting by her when she ate, and lying down with her when she went to sleep. To this day, almost four months later, he is still doing all of the same things. Not only was that an amazing thing, but if you look at the two of them, they look totally alike!!! |
|  | One Point Mother Nature | Most of mother natures animals manage to give birth very successfully all on their own. Some domestic animals, mostly those who were manipulated through human selective breeding (eg. Chihuahua dogs, beef cattle) have difficulties. Humans, in developed nations anyhow, rarely give birth at home, alone, and unassisted. Other animals don't even get any prenatal training!
