|  | Disney Princess Ariel Mermaid Sea Cake. My Daughters 4Th Birthday | My daughter asked for an Ariel cake as she is her most fav princess of them all. I only did one tier but would have done two if she was having a party but theres only the five of us so this is plenty big enough. I used a small disney priness Ariel and made her a fondant tail and shell top and added a flower to her hair. Everything else is made from fondant apart from the two rocks. I made them with some crispy bun first and then molded fondant around them. After baking the cake It took me about three hours to actually cover it and decorate it but I made flounder, sabastian and scuttle the day before and that took an hour also. I loved making this cake it was really nice to do. I also coloured the cake mix in five colours to so when we cut into it theres a rainbow of colours. :) |
|  | Snow Slope Hill and Penguins Winter Cake | This cake is sooo cute. It took me about an hour to decorate it which isnt bad at all. I dusted the cake when finished with Wiltons pearl dust to give it a light shimmer. The inside of the cake I used a blue colour to add some colour to it so that when you cut into it its nice and fresh. My kids loved this cake. A great idea for a winter scene. |
