|  | Home with a Second Story Porch | We must remember that many of these homes were built before air conditioning. Note this one with the balcony. The home faces nearly due east so during the afternoon this would be shaded as would the porch below. I am in a quandary if the lower porch was originally there – the wooden floor speaks to that but the way it is on a Cape style home does not fit the time it was built. But it is still interesting. |
