|  | A Firefighter Demonstrates His Equipment at the Apple Harvest Festival | This firefighter is demonstrating his equipment to a couple of small children. I generally don’t show people this close-up and identifiable but I felt this picture needed to be seen. This man and hundreds like him in this area serve their communities day in, day out in responding to needs and then they spend days like this making contact with the community. This day may create a desire in some five year old to serve twenty years from now in this way or some other. To this man in particular and the hundreds of others, from me, "Thank you."
