This is a picture I did of The Dark Tower....i wanted to draw Can'-Ka No Rey (field of roses) that lead up to the tower. Each rose holds a universe inside...i have seen pictures of others work where they concentrate on that more...but I wanted to do more ordinary looking roses and instead capture the walk through them as not only the end...but the beginning...i wanted a way to represent all of the people that died on Rolands quest, most by his own hands....if you haven't read the series...i suggest you do :DD
The Dark Tower is the nexus of ALL wheres and whens, the keystone that holds all of the multiverses together. However, The Tower is in dire peril due to our nemesis, The Crimson King's efforts to destroy the remaining "Beams" of the Tower, and so, releasing himself from his imprisonment within, and to become ruler of all multiverses. |
